Where does it all go?

How does a landfill work? What engineering is behind managing the waste?
This guided tour seeks to understand design’s role in managing our waste. What can creative design thinking bring to the challenge ahead as we envision a zero-waste future?

Departing from the east side of the Central Library on a charter bus, we will travel to the landfill and visit sites that are not typically accessible to the general public, including the compost pad.

Join us Friday afternoon, September 27.
